Admission for a Nursery Place

Little Engineers Nursery is committed to providing your child with the highest childcare and learning.

Little Engineers Nursery is open 48 weeks per year. We are closed on bank holidays, as well as for planned breaks including 1 week at Easter, 1 week in August, 2 weeks over Christmas, and Staff Training Days. All nursery closures are already included in our fee calculations.

We are open Monday to Friday 8am – 5.45pm.

Full Day: 8am-5.45pm

Half Days: 8am-1pm; 12.45pm-5:45pm

Little Engineers Nursery caters to children from 6 months- 36 months. Children leave us the ending of the term after they turn 3 years old.

We are able to offer a total of 30 admissions for the morning, afternoon, and full time. 

If you would like to apply for a place at our nursery or add your child's name to the waiting list, please click on the "Apply Now" button below. This will help us deal with your application more quickly as it will give us vital information about your child and your requirements. When filling out our application form  - In the 'what are you looking for' box, please specify which nursery site you are interested in: Tottenham Hale or South Tottenham.

Please note that we will not ask you to pay any fees on completion of this application form, this will only happen once we are able to make you a provisional offer of a place for your child.  Further on in the process once you've applied, we will ask for some additional documents. From here we will send you an official Offer Letter along with an Invoice for a £50 registration fee and £100 deposit.

The £50 fee will go towards your child’s settling-in sessions. This fee is non-refundable and does not secure a place for your child. The £100 deposit is refundable once 1 month's notice is given that your child is leaving the Nursery and will be deducted from your last invoice. Upon receipt of payment, we will confirm your sessions are secure, and arrange Induction and settling-in sessions.  1 month of nursery fees is required in advance. Your offer letter will have a due date when this will need to be paid.

Childcare Terms and Conditions

There will be times where we may not be able to offer a place due to limited availability. In these circumstances, we maintain a waiting list, and when a place is available our staff will contact the parents of the next child on the list. This does not guarantee that you will be able to receive your requested days or times. You will be given 72 hours to decide whether you would like to accept the place, or it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

We regularly review our occupancy, and availability is assessed taking in any leavers or room moves. If your child does not receive a place to start at the requested time, they will remain on the waiting list until a place becomes available. We will aim to give you an update on your position after each review.

Allocation of Places

Places are offered on the basis of the following order of priority:

1. A child who is currently at the Nursery wishing to increase their sessions.
2. A child with a sibling already at the nursery
3. The date of waiting list registration

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Due to a high volume of applications, our waiting list is currently closed. We anticipate reopening it by June 2026.
